Class Tasks

With this project I was tasked to align sound up with a video in adobe audition, I managed to successfully do it well although it took a while and it was a bit confusing because of the many tracks that I put in; it was the stomping of the T-rex.

If I was to improve with something, I would with my performance because I thought I asked for too much help, and at the same time I thought I could have been a bit quicker deciding where the audio tracks could have gone.

as you can see in adobe after effects i have managed to animate a small waving ailen that crosses his eyes right in the middle of the video, I managed to create this by using puppet pins and set it at 2 seconds the puppet pins will move to the area the the 2 second position looking like the picture has moved but it has instead been animated.

if i was to improve this video i would have given the ailen a spaceship background to help viewers know what he is, and also during the process of animating it, I would have asked for less help.

in this video i practiced transitions, I targeted pieces of film whenever a score happened and I managed to create a small montage of shots with transitions every-time the basket ball went into the hoop.

If I was to improve it i would make the audio a bit quieter as i thought it was a bit loud and I would have done a bit more experimentation if I didn't take so long trying to understand about the transitions.

I have used a gimbal to help give me ideas for when I film my final major project, by using a gimbal allows for smooth moving shots, it acts like a tripod and a stabiliser for smart phones, the handle can divide into 3 legs and can stand still, and the stabiliser is perfect for moving shots, it has a controller to allow for extra movement.

There are many different types of shot that can be filmed like a paned shot.

a panned shot is a panoramic view shot that displays an object, field or building being filmed horizontally.

I did a follow shot of someone walking to demonstrate the stability of the gimbal, which can reduce camera shake by quite a bit.

I did a product shot which is like taking a video of an inanimate object.
